We care about our planet and our people. Reducing our environmental footprint can only succeed if we join forces on the entire supply chain.
“Scope 3” emissions have the biggest impact on our footprint and to lower these emissions, it is important to work on the footprint of our raw materials.
The main ingredient of our tortillas is wheat flour, supplied by our sister company Dossche Mills, a true pioneer in the field of sustainable wheat.
They have developed a sustainable wheat flour with a CO2 reduction of 25% which results in a CO2 reduction of 15% in our tortillas.*
* The CO2 reduction will be constantly monitored and re-calculated. It is our goal to double the CO₂ reduction of the wheat flour to 50% in 2030.
